clarence - my only comment is no wonder there is a 'problem' with some of the
winners of the dykes award if the judges 1) have no choices among the tall
bearded for first place, and 2) some of the judges have never even seen it
growing.  it sounds rigged.  when i first started buying iris, i thought
getting dykes winners was a good way to pick the best growing iris for my
horrible location.  i know better now - there are often many others that
perform better for me.
