Dykes Medal

Re. my recent diatribe about the Dykes Medal:  A couple of you thought I said
that judges vote for the tall bearded candidate even if they haven't seen it.
 I didn't mean to give that impression.  I do think that some judges believe
that the Dykes winner should be a tb, and other things being aproximately
equal, will vote for the tb.
