My response:
I never meant to intend that the balloting is 'rigged", or in any way
dishonest.  I do think that the present system was not thought out completely
and is flawed.  

Certainly we should vote for worthy non-tb's.  The problem is that the non-tb
vote will be split 36 ways and the tb will always win.

It is a principle of fair electioneering that when no candidate receives a
majority of votes a runoff election should take place between the top two
finishers.  For example, if there are 3 candidates, A, B1, and B2, and A gets
40% of the vote, B1 gets 30% and B2 gets 20%, a runoff election will give
those who voted for B2 a chance to show they would prefer B1 to A.

A runoff would truly give a non TB a chance to win the Dykes.
