Note in your discussion about the benefits of alfalfa. Rose growers have
been using alfalfa for a number of years.
Many organic supply sources have the alfalfa available, mostly in meal
form. I used to use pellets but now prefer meal. FYI, I put the meal down
then top dress with a compost mulch (again, this is for roses).
If you get in a pinch and can't find alfalfa in either pellet or meal you
can buy rabbit food at most any pet food store, this is alfalfa pellets.
