Duh, I wondered why Carol kept sending me 100 catalogs. Now I can buy more
irises! <grin>.
The "." key on my laptop is exactly 5/16 of an inch wide and if I hit it and
another key nothing happens.
Someone also jumped on me privately for calling Kathy's group "weenies". That's
a standing joke
with Kathy and her group. Western New York Iris Society acronym is WNYIS. Try
pronouncing that
and the closest you come is "weenies".
My own society was aware of such a problem. Originally, we were going to call
ourselves Portsmouth
Iris Society. We later changed it to Portsmouth, Chesapeake & Suffolk Iris
Society. It may be a
mouthful to pronounce, but at least we're not referred to as PIS- ers. 8^}
