I use "reverse" to indicate the opposite of whichever direction was under
discussion, not to mean the opposite of "normal". In this case, I consider the
tetraploid aril X tetraploid TB the preferred type. Best of all for the
exploration process are "reciprocal" crosses, meaning the cross is made both
directions between the same two clones.
