The main reason for this post is that a big nurseryman from Iowa had lots of
problems with deer and solved the problem by running yellow electric fence
ribbon around his fields, setting the pulse for every 3 seconds , and painting
the wire with peanut butter. The deer normally go right through the fence but
once their tongue gets shocked they steer clear. If anyone needs more detail I
can that out.
A couple people wrote for details on electric fence tape. It is available at
AGWAY $44.00 for 660 feet.
It is yellow tape and should be available at any farm supply store. As for the
peanut butter lets have a popularity poll. I vote for Teddys Natural. See you
