The place where my husband and I first met (although he didn't propose
to me there) was recently blown to bits! We met at the Arlington County
(Virginia) Courthouse (we worked in the police department) which was
imploded last week. I purposely avoided watching it on the news, but
when I picked up our paper the next day, there was a big picture of it
being destroyed right on the front page! It did make me cry.
