Diana, I grow Louisianas and my area is not a bog by any means. I have
real heavy red clay dirt with lots of humus & 3 inches of shredded pine
bark mulch on top. I have a soaker hose I use when rain is lacking. My
bloom is as good as any seen in bogs.
