Inter Species Hybrids

Dear Robins,
Yesterday, I got a catalog from Joe Pye Weed's Garden. In this
catalog, I noticed two interestion Inter Species Hybrids. The two in
question are: BERLIN CHRYTOSA and THREE QUARTERS. BERLIN CHRYTOSA is the
product of a cross between Berliner Reisen (I. delevayi x I. clarkei) and
Iris setosa. THREE QUARTERS is in a tetraploid race of 3/4 Siberica--1/4
Setosa Hybrids.
Does anyone on the Iris-L have experience with growing either or both
of these hybrids? Are they suitable for use in hot summer areas such as
Kentucky? If anyone can tell me anything about the performance and
adaptibility of these plants, let me know.
