Re: Inter Species Hybrids


I am not sure about the listed varieties, but I have been growing a Tamberg
Iris called STARTING SIBTOSA for several years.  It is a tetraploid that
is, I think, 3/4 siberian and 1/4 setosa.  It does very well  with the same
culture as siberians.  In fact, it looks just like a siberian.

I have never been able to get any seed set on it either by selfing or by
polliation with 4N siberians.
