<< Could anyone please tell me how long seeds need to stay in the
freezer before they can be taken out for germination?...It would nice if I
had a whole winter to do it but I only got the seeds in the last
month from SIGNA. Anybody have any advice? They are I setosa var
Alaska, Artica and I hookeri seeds. TIA. >>
There is some evidence that setosas like oscillating temperatures. I,
personally, would take them ouside where, I magine you, in Ottawa, still have
at least two more months of winter left in which the temperatures can be
expected to oscillate. The jury is out on hookeri, but the same should work
reasonably.Otherwise, give them all about three months in the frige. Cover
the seeds.
