I looked up a few more second & third generation korolkowii-breds....
The first group are registered offspring of the half-korolkowii arilbreds I
listed earlier:
KEEPSAKE -- a korolkowii grandparent through SOCRATES.
MADAM MOHR -- a korolkowii grandparent through MORERA.
TAMPA -- a korolkowii grandparent through SOCRATES.
VOLUNTEER FIREMAN -- a korolkowii great-grandparent through OYEZ.
The second group are registered offspring of the half-korolkowii arilbreds that
have been counted as amphidiploid or suspected amphidiploid on the basis of test
crosses:
KOROLCYP -- counted as a 46-chromosome amphidiploid, but I found no registered
offspring.
MISS MARTHA -- based on test crosses Gene Hunt expressed hope that it might be
amphidiploid, but I found no registered offspring.
RED KOROL -- reported as partially fertile in 70s robin, but I found no
registered offspring.
RED RAPPORT -- proved fertile enough in local tests that we suspected it might
be an amphidiploid, but SATAN'S MISTRESS was the only registered offspring I
found.
Third, ARDRUN. This is a special case, fully fertile because it got a full set
of I. korolkowii chromosomes and full set of I. barnumae chromosomes through
gametic doubling on the part of its pod parent. It has been the primary conduit
of korolkowii genes into today's halfbreds. Its offspring (unless otherwise
designated) have one korolkowii great-grandparent.
AMETHYST BUTTERFLY -- also has a korolkowii great-grandparent on the other side.
ARDIMAC
CHECK ME OUT -- also has a korolkowii great-grandparent on the other side.
SUNDT 5631-O -- sib to ARDIMAC used in Flanagan lines.
SUNDT 5631-D -- sib to ARDIMAC used in Hunt lines.
Finally, I'm going to list a few of the presumed triploids from RCs. Each has a
korolkowii grandparent, but not necessarily a full set of korolkowii
chromosomes. Some of these have one set of aril chromosomes and two sets of
non-aril ones, but most have two sets of aril chromosomes and one set of
non-aril ones.
AIGRET -- ABB-type
BIG BLACK BUMBLEBEE -- AAB-type, limitedly fertile.
LOVE CONQUERS ALL -- AAB-type, limitedly fertile.
MAGIC LIGHT -- ABB-type
PERSONALITY QUEEN -- AAB-type.
PRECIOUS MEMORIES -- AAB-type, limitedly fertile.
I'm sure there are many more. Just look for arilbreds with a diploid
first-generation RC parent....
