AIS, increase dues? Please don't, unless...

I am very new to iris's and new to AIS. I thoroughly enjoy the ability to
have some sort of connection with the outside world. The AIS is so
reasonable to join. I live in area where sunshine tax is prohibitive. Any
large increase in AIS dues would discourage me. I think that some of the
other plant societies membership fees are far to expensive. AIS does an
admirable job at keeping things econmical and available to all! Please try
to come up with other solutions before drastically increasing dues.
