Re: Seattle Filmworks

I know that we iris lovers are accustomed to getting our best selections
from afar. That mindset seems to permeate much of our existance. How
many times have we heard that from an expert--some one who is from out
of town and has a rack of slides. Then you find out that your neighbor
can leave the expert in the dust.

Seattle Film Works gimick is sending out free film. But you have to keep
going back to them to get it. That way, they guarantee their BIG niche
in the market. Besides growing a lot or irises, I own a drug store. We
offer photofinishing--not 1 hour, but next day. For $5.99 you can get
your prints and a free roll of film. For $4.99 more and two day service,
you can get them all on diskette. Or you can get them loaded to your own
website for 20 days, to download as you please or have your friends
access them.

If you want to be the expert from out of town AND save a few bucks, go
to SFW. But if you want to distribute your photos over this medium,
check out your neighborhood Konica dealer. There is something to be said
for dealing locally.
