	I think what Lloyd is seeing with his current bloom on MATRIX is a
reblooming bud that was not completely put to sleep by winter.  When I
lived in TX and we had a mild winter, I would often have very early stalks  
on reblooming cultivars that were just emerging when winter arrived and
were held back until early spring.
