This hurts to say, but I would not recommed this iris. It grows and
blooms well enough, and is a nice color, BUT the bloomed are usually
shreaded upon opening. It was introduced primarily becasuse it is a
color break, the first (only?) yellow cartwheel or 6 fall form.
Spend your good money on one of the many nicer yellows. I grow DIXIE
DED. It is very species looking but showy and tough as a boot. I
also have PRESIDENT HEDELEY which is a nice golden yellow with some a
fuller form, and also a good grower.
