Re: rebloom or not?

Thank you, Chris for asking this question: "When is an iris OFFICIALLY in
rebloom or first bloom?"  

I have an unknown iris (looks a lot like DAUNTLESS) that I've grown for 8
years.  It usually blooms early March in Atascadero, but suddenly this
January, it bloomed.  We did have kind of a warm spell this winter, but none
of the other irises bloomed (except CRIMSON KING which doesn't count around
here).  So was it just confused?  Was that rebloom or not?  It just started
blooming again yesterday.  Who's more confused--I or the iris?
