I am jealous! It is warm enough where you are for the iris to be
blooming already. I still have a few weeks to wait, God willing and
the Oklahoma springtime doesn't decide to go back to winter again.
Though still new to iris, I have been able to detect buds in the fans
of my yellow iris fairly easily. The pink one also is easy to find
buds on. Dover Beach just kind of pops up and says HELLO!
I promise, some day when the re-dedication of the Cathedral is over,
and the bombing anniversary is safely behind us again, I will contact
the local Iris societies and find out what my unknowns are.
