Hi folks,
All of you in the US who requested our catalog should have received it by now.
(We also mailed it to those overseas who requested it, but I don't know about
the delivery times). If you haven't received it yet please e-mail me directly
and I will get a copy out to you.
Also, any new subscribers to the list who would like the catalog please let me
know. There is no charge. We carry Siberian, Louisiana. Japanese, Tall Bearded
(primarily antiques..all the Dykes winners prior to 1951), a goodly number of
species and water lilies.
FYI the Nashville spring has been fantastic, although slightly damp. All the
flowering trees and shrubs are in full bloom and I spotted one tall bearded
with three blooms open. I have stopped by the house where it lives (obviously
not divided in years) to beg or buy a piece but haven't found anyone home yet.
It's just stuck out in the corner of their yard and doesn't get full sun all
day. It's about 14 inches tall, purple with a white beard and is verrrry
early. My bearded are just getting started.
Temp is supposed to be 29 this weekend so we're keeping our fingers crossed
against freeze.
