Blooming Dwarf

Good Morning from California,
	We have our first  miniature dwarf bearded blooming this week.  It's a =
beautiful lilliput called Making Eyes. It has cream standards and cream =
trimmed purple falls.  It's supposed to be 12 inches but ours is only =
about five inches up on the bloom stalk.  Is this because of soil or =
weather conditions or because it is just getting established?  Maybe =
both?  It sent up two blooms so far.  We are thankful for early show!
