Sharlyn,
Not to get too technical on you, but MAKING EYES is in the Standard
Dwarf classification (8 to 15 inches) opposed to Minature Dwarf (less
than 8 inches). For those members not belonging to the American Iris
Society (AIS) these are AIS classifications. And yes, this is short
for this variety, but in my experience, first year planting is always
shorter on the dwarfs. Two year or greater clumps should show the
proper height.
