Welcome to the list. What part of the central valley? There are lots
more of us Californians showing up on the list these days. I am in
Fremont northeast from San Jose a few miles.
I have two anti gopher methods that work pretty well. I line the bottom
of my raised beds with rabbit wire for one. The other is named Zoe. She
is a very hungry kitty that loves to prowl the garden at night. (
Actually I feed her really well, she just enjoys the hunt. My daughter,
on the other hand, gets very upset when she wakes up in the morning to
find a dead gopher in her bedroom that Zoe has proudly presented to
her... :>)))

1843 - The City of Boston conducted the first town meeting in Faneuil

New England.
And at the top of the charts in:
1957 - Young Love - Tab Hunter
