Pretty pictures! Great rose garden! And yes, LEMON AND SPICE does bug
me. I think I'll order it from someone. Re CAN YOU NAME THIS?: No, I
can't, and I hope you can and are just running a fun quiz and will
eventually tell us the answer, because I have used either this iris or
one almost identical to it in a cross with WABASH that has produced what
may be an important seedling. The iris I used was given to me under the
name of SAND AND SEA, which it is not. It is an amoena. I notice the
yellow flush in the stands in your photograph. Despite how it appears in
the photo, is your flower an amoena? Anxious to learn the answers.
Griff Crump, near Mount Vernon, VA, where my bloom season is 2 weeks
earlier than that of D.C. Nearpass, whose field in Maryland is only 25
miles north of here as the crow flies (but a lot farther if he walks).
