David,
Did you make a mistake with the model number of your Epson? I have a
Stylus 800 which I purchased a few years ago, but rated only at 360 Dpi.
It is sitting in a box in the closet with a damaged print head. The
cost to get it repaired exceeded the original purchase price.
Needless to say I went out and purchased another printer. A Hewlett
Packard LaserJet 5L. I've had to return this after 4 months with
damaged roller. So far the replacement is working fine.
They just don't make them like they used to!
