Just thought you might enjoy this ... last summer I did my first
hybridizing. I got pods. We moved across the state in October/November.
Pods were marked in "closed" zip loc baggies. When I remembered (found)
them in December, I quickly threw them in the ground around Dec 15th. Many
were moldy and a few were actually sprouting from contained moisture. I
planted in front of new house ... unfortunately right in the path of the
drip line from the eaves ... my BEGINNER'S LUCK just happened to work ...
counted 12 seedlings from Silverado(pod) and Master Touch(pollen) ... who
knows what I'll get ... just thought I'd share with you.
-Bill Burghart ... Ontario, Oregon ... just beginning :-)
