I've got seeds from SIGNA for a setosa, a virginica, and a versicolor (and
several others).
Do all of these need cold treatment in the refrigerator before I plant them?
Is it too late to start these this year? I have a mild climate which would
allow any summer seedlings to grow well into the fall of the year (Nov. or
Dec.) Any advice would be much appreciated.
I just had a thought that it would be extremely convenient and useful if
someone came up with a one page list of germination instructions for the
most common iris species. This might even be something useful to send out
with the SIGNA seed list or post on a web page. Such a quick list would be
extremely helpful to beginners like myself. Does anyone know if such a set
of instructions exists already? If not would anyone like to volunteer to
help me track down this info or contribute instructions which I could
distribute freely?
