I've had laser-printed labels in Los Angeles sun for five or six years
with not a sign of fading. They were printed on some clear stuff from
MMM whose name I can't remember, and I haven't seen any in a few years.
I can't believe that that the base has much to do with the lack of
fading, but its extreme stickiness might do a better job of keeping
it on the metal base than, say, mailing labels. I did spray on a layer
of clear Krylon, so that may have helped in the preservation.
Gerry in L.A., where TBs can start blooming over a two-month
period--what's this two-week stuff??
