######* and #############* that I'm reeling. I regertfully single it out
so that this post might have direction. [*EDITED TO AVOID FLAMING]
John's rebuttal was eloquent and democratic and I hope his point was well
taken. However, it was the velvet glove treatment of a situation that
requires a 2X4 with nails in it (and I know the politically correct are
going to over-react to the violent metaphor; frankly, my dear, I don't give
a damn).
This last week has been an eruption of revisionist garbage. I loved Iris-l
the way it was and will sorely miss it. A small group of
whining-griping-bitching-moaning twits, who don't have the time to use a
delete key, but who have infinite time to tell us aaaaallll about it is
taking control. They're being patronized and coddled, and I, for one, will
have nothing to do with it.
The sob-racked, heaving bosoms and lugubrious sighs of those forced to use
a delete key will haunt me to my grave, but I will do what those tortued
souls should have done in the first place: leave.
To all the wonderful people that form the back-bone of this group, I want
to thank you for the months of education and entertainment. It's been
great fun but I can't bear to watch your (non-gender specific!!!)
castration.
