Question: Is this normal to have the seeds sprout while still in
the cold? If not, what might I have done to prompt this? Or is it
in spite of what I may have done? Arnold Koekkoek
Some of my tall bearded iris seeds sprouted while the temperature was still
dropping down below freezing, so I think it's normal. But I don't know for
sure. What's 'normal', anyway?

guess I better not brag on this gorgeous weather while some of you are still
under snow - RASPBERRY JAM buds seem to still be filling out, so they may
have survived the 22o cold snap.
