Re: REB, AR, : A Reblooming Arilbred Iris

In a message dated 97-03-22 20:42:33 EST, you write:

<< Does repeat bloom about one month after initial bloom count?

If so, my ARIL REVERIE qualifies. It usually produces secondary
stems a month or six weeks after the first round of spring bloom. It has
repeated in Texas and in Mississippi. It is BABY BLESSED X RARE SPICE.
 It inherited BB's fragrance.

Walter---I have always been doubtful as to whether secondary bloom a few
weeks after first bloom counts as "rebloom"---but I think your experience
with ARIL REVERIE would definitely make a nice subject to write something on
for the Spring issue of the Reblooming Iris Recorder---May I ask that you do
that and email it to Ginny Spoon (who will be the new editor)? Hope you
will, Clarence Mahan in VA
