Juri asked about the "Realms of the Russian Bear". Scientifically, it
is very accurate, although written for the general public. The book was
written in association with Dr. Nikolai Drozdov of Moscow State
University and the author has a doctorate in zoology from the UK.
As to pennsylvanicum, Juri is quite correct in his account of this as a
Lilium. The problem arose because I did not read the titles accurately
enough. The iris is ensata from Ussuriland. Sorry for the error.
