Please enlighten this rookie.
I was given a wonderful clump of the Siberian 'Blue Ego' from our local
Iris society. I planted it in a moist spot and it took off, bloomed
like mad, and has increased to about 15 inches wide. This was two years
ago. Should I divide it this year? It has plenty of room to spread,
but I don't want to embarass you good people by doing the wrong thing ;)
If division is called for, how deep should I replant, and how far apart?
And how many "children" should I clump together?
One last beginner question- Do sibs bloom in sequence like daffs? Is it
possible by carefully selecting cultivars to have them in bloom for over
a month?
Thanks for the help.
Best,
