CAYENNE PEPPER is a Schreiners TB introduced in 1986. The Gibson iris you
are referring to must be CAYENNE CAPERS, which was introduced in 1959.
I grew the Gibson iris and it did OK for me, but that doesn't give much
indication how it might do in your very different climate. CAYENNE CAPERS
is a mild climate rebloomer, so if it does grow well for you, you might get
this bonus, too.
