Greeting all,
I'm new to iris cultivating and this list but a life-long iris
lover; without a doubt, my favorite flower. My wife and I started a
raised bed of some older "historic" iris purchased from Newburn's here
in Plattsmouth, NE. Newburn has a larger operation in Lincoln, NE. I
have only 8 or so TB varieties and a couple minitures. It's a
start with gradual growth with time. A family favorite is "Camolot
Rose." I was very interested in the name tag discussion because I'm
still using the plastic tags they came with last summer. I need to
take care of it soon. I'm sort of a heritage garden buff too. Other
flowers my wife and I adore are peonies, red roses, and hollyhocks. My
Grandmother (a devoted gardener) is to blame for all this because she
grew these flowers around her house.
