Lora,
What type of wire do you use, and does it really do the trick? I must
assume that this is for bearded irises, as 6 to 8 inches would not be
enough depth for the Siberians, which are the plants the critters tend
to eat in our garden. They make many holes in the garden, (little ones)
but they do not actually chomp on the bearded rhizomes. However, when it
comes to Sibs, they treat them like dessert. Nothing left but the top
leaves, and they sometimes even pull those down into their runs!! Thanks
