Re: MED: Pumila, spots

Well, I finally have my first bloomstalk on TBs. Some Dutch iris have
been in bloom for a while now, and reticulatas as well. Strange season,
because the retic's only beat the TBs by a week or two and both are
unusually late. We had strong cold up until February, then unseasonable
and seasonably warm weather since then. I would have therefore
predicted an *earlier* season due to the rapid warm up of the air and
ground, but I guess them iris are smarter than that.

Anyway, I believe it to be CELEBRATION SONG, planted last season from
Schreiner's. The catalog description labels it "EML" which I interpret
to either mean "any time" or "all during the season ;-)", with my bet
riding on the former.
