Don't WORRY about the cutworms until you see damage, then look for them
at the plant where the damage was.  They usually aren't a MAJOR problem.
And you can usually find a small hole in the ground near the damaged
plant, that is where they are hiding.  A diazinon (or sevin) drench
should kill them, but why drench the whole garden?  It's just as easy to
find them near the damaged plant.  Usually it's just a few chews out of
the leaves.  But they can chew off an entire "increase" or stalk.  Get
them when they first start!
