HYB: Chromosome Notation


Here are a few additions to Tom's list:

AAA	triploid oncogelias, regeliocycli, regelia hybrids
Relatively rare, but of interest to hybridizers of tetraploid arils
 
ATT	triploid 1/4-breds from diploid aril x TB breeding
Now quite rare, but of immense importance in the development of today's fertile
arilbreds.

AAAT  	tetraploid 3/4-breds
Relatively new, fascinating patterns & colors 

:  But the list probably covers more
:  than 95% of irises in commerce with aril or bearded ancestry.

But the other 5% has its own special charm to some of us....

Needless to say, I much prefer this system to the standard classification codes.
