Thanks to all of you who replied. Most of you seem to be in agreement
about this subject. I guess I've been handling the tbs correctly (altho
I lack bloom -- so it must be not enough sunshine), but I've never cut
the sibs all the way down.
A friend is bringing me some SIBS and JI from Alabama --will the change
in climate affect them since he's had them in the ground for years in a
much hotter and humid climate? Should I do anything special when I
plant them or handle them the way I do any others I order from a
nursery?

warmer today, low 50's and the snow is melting, the pond ice is melting
and I've been hearing honking geese all morning.
