I've had this happen now and then (not consistently) and I have to say that
it's not a bad look!  Since we look down on SDB's anyway (literally... NOT
figuratively), the perky "propeller" look is pleasing.

Just FYI... in the daylily world, they breed for extra petals and/or
sepals.... call them "polytepals" and people are crazy for them.
