First of all, I have very little iris knowledge and have enjoyed garnering
some from the list but I have a question. Would not applying some of the
products such a Miracid, etc., made for cultivating acid loving Azaelas and
Rhodos work to help Patricia in North central WA in adjusting the pH of her
soil? What about mulching with pine needles etc? Is it possible to import
desired soil and plant in pots that are imbedded in garden to segregate from
the native soil?
