Hi Dennis,
The SDB I have is deep purple with distinct tigering at the hafts. If I
remember correctly, the beards are close to the same color as the flower.
It's very aggressive in it's increase. It's about 10" tall (taller just
after the soil has been freshened with compost). Shakes off the wet and
cold like it was born in it.
Wish I could go out and check for other features, but that bed is still
under a foot of snow.
Do you know any more about "Can't Stop" (year of intro., who might have
published a photo of it, etc.) and if Gatty produced any others like this?
Sounds like this needs to be checked out further.
