As most of you know, the list archives were inaccessible for the last
couple weeks. It turns out that Rt66 was trying to conserve disk space by
compressing the files, but this resulted in changed file names and some
other problems, so they've returned everything to the way it was before.
You can now fetch the archive files for any particular date just as before,
as described at the Iris-L web site http://www.rt66.com/~telp/garden.htm. I
haven't updated the subject indices recently, but if we move all the
archives to Christopher Lindsey's site at mallorn.com, that may become a
moot issue.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the temporary inaccessibility
of the archives.
