Our climatic conditiions are fairly comparable, except in northern Utah the
snow accumulations are usually not quite as much, and our Springs and Falls
can be either dry or rainy/snowy.

Of the iris you listed I have grown VANITY and CHARTREUSE RUFFLES, and both
of them did very well here, too. I have taken note of the others you
mentioned, as they might also turn out to be good doers here.

After bloom season last year I did an extensive analysis of all the TBs I
am currently growing based on their performance for as long as I have grown
them. The top dozen performers are as follows:

BLUE STACCATO (Gibson, 77)
CAPRICIOUS (Hamblen, 81)
SECRET MELODY (Schreiners, 88)
SONG OF ERIN (Roach, 71)
FRINGE OF GOLD (Schreiners, 87)
PINNACLE (Stevens, 49)
MARY FRANCES (Gaulter, 73)
EXCITATION (R. Nelson, 89)
CHICO MAID (Luihn, 85)
WINDWALKER (Tompkins, 86)
BETTY SIMON (Hamblen, 76)
PUNKIN PATCH (Denney, 89)

Jeff Walters in northern Utah (Zone 4)
