I haven't noticed any slugs, but then I haven't be out much at night either.
I moved across Alabama, from a border 7/8 with really hot summers to what is
mapped as 7. I've only been here since October so I don't know how typical
this past winter was. I'm guessing it was an unusually mild one though. I
don't think the summers will be too much different, here in AL we rarely
vary more than a couple of degrees north to south in the summer.
