I want share with you a good source for high quality plants that
really take off and grow for us. This is about the 10th year we've ordered
from them and in that length of time the price has come up from $22 to
$31.50. It's a flat price including shipping and you get 98 good sized
fresh healthy plants. It's a no-frills (but good descriptions) catalog that
lists 28 different vegetables, 80 annuals and 80+ perennials. You have to
order in multiples of 98, but you can mix them up any way you want...one of
each or all one variety, vegetables & flowers.
They also have available a
40-cell offer whereby you can obtain larger plants such as geraniums,
hostas, etc. Some of these tack on a small surcharge...the hostas come to
$2.15 each, for instance. The catalogs are free. You indicate what
shipping date you prefer.
They list pentas and after all the discussion about them on iris-l, we're
going to try some this year.
