Hmm! Just before it rains set some sawhorses and anchor some
clear plastic or greenhouse material over your arilbreds. Then remove it
after the rain. This will certainly tacky up your garden and catch the
neighbors' attention!
I have my arilbreds planted on the south side of the house (36')
and on the south side of the garage (another 36') under the roof overhang.
Only the rain that blows in ever waters these beds that have added sand.
Yes, my garage is 36' x 24'! It could handle four cars but accommodates
one van, one pickup truck, and two pieces of riding lawn/tiller equipment
plus assorted other junk and an iris refrigerator! Sorry for the excess
information here, but I wanted you to know why my garage IS 36' x 24'.
The builder thought I had completely taken leave of my senses when I told
him how big I wanted the garage to be.
