IME I. Tectorum Alba should be transplanted the third year. It starts
to decline after this time. As a matter of fact I almost lost it this
year and had to salvage a tiny fan, all that was left of it. I
transplanted it to a pot of Supersoil and it seems to like this. The
first two years it did great in my Zone 8 climate.
