By sprying water on plants, when it freezes, the
water then protects the rest of the plant,
something like a layer of snow. On Orange trees
they spray the water just before a freeze and
afterwards, the oranges are not good for eating,
but can still be used as Juicers. I did it once
down in Ramona,Ca. to an Orange tree and it works.
